Will I be able to keep up in class if I haven’t been exercising regularly?

My classes are NOT high pressure. I am glad you came and are sticking with it. I offer modifications to the exercises, and if you feel you need a rest, that is OK t0o. As long you are moving, that is a win in my book.

At first, some things may be challenging, but with time and work your cardiovascular system will adapt and muscle memory will kick in. You will be so proud of yourself for sticking with it and loving the results.

Can you tell me how to lose weight in a specific part of my body?

You can target specific parts of your body to tone and build muscle, but the way your body builds muscle and burns fat is unique to you. And your diet plays a big part as well.

what can i expect to happen to my body from regular exercise?

There are so many benefits to exercise: Less inflammation, less visceral (belly) fat, lowered risk of diabetes, increased # of healthy arteries, increased good HDL, decreased bad LDL cholesterol, fewer triglycerides, fewer symptoms of anxiety and depression, and it actually makes new brain cells and changes brain activity by increasing endorphins, serotonin, and other neurochemicals. You may experience deeper sleep and more frequent bowel movements as well as increased self-esteem.

I don’t want to join class and feel like I will slow others down.

My classes are all about building women up and creating community as well as getting you in great shape. Everyone is welcome! And we can’t wait to see you next week!

I like to work out, but I get bored, how can you help?

I enjoy creating new workouts and trying new equipment. I have classes with slam balls, resistance bands, resistance tubing, free weights, small squeeze balls, you name it. Circuit training is another great way to keep it interesting. I have stationary bikes, climbers, stairs, a rowing machine, an elliptical, and a treadmill. I like to keep it interesting and challenging for those of you who enjoy a good workout.

I like the 2/3:1 option, is this popular?

I love to help women get strong, and I find when you have a team or community behind you, pushing you to keep it up, it helps all of you, and let’s be honest you and your friends, of the same age, are likely dealing with the same problem areas and have similar goals. The best part - it saves you money so come give it a try!!
